With Micron expected to set up shop in Onondaga County, Central New York residents can share their opinions on areas for the microchip manufacturer to invest such as education, housing, and workforce development.
The Micron Community Engagement Committee has launched a survey to gain insight from the community and its priorities as Micron and New York have committed to investing $500 million into community and workforce development over the next 20 years.
The survey takes roughly four minutes to complete and can be accessed using this link.
The committee is made up of local stakeholders and was formed as part of the October 2022 Community Investment Framework agreement between New York and Micron. Its goal is to ensure community participation and discussion of the microchip manufacturer’s investments in the region.
