A private burial was held over the weekend for the 30 racehorses killed in a fire police say was intentionally set at Tioga Downs last weekend.
According to the track, the horses were buried together next to the barn where the fire happened last Thursday morning. The racetrack is working on establishing a memorial for the horses, designed to honor their lasting impact on the harness racing community. The names of the horses appear below.
A 32-year-old Pennsylvania man, Boyd Fenton, has been charged with arson, burglary, criminal mischief, and assault, all felonies.
