A man has been charged for a house fire that killed a 10-year-old boy in Batavia back in February.
According to the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office, 55-year-old Henry Banks has been charged with criminally negligent homicide and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child for the February 6th fire that trapped three children inside the burning home.
Javarius Brown later died from the injuries he suffered. His 12-year-old brother and 4-year-old sister suffered serious injuries.
Banks was arraigned in Genesee County Supreme Court and was sent to Genesee County Jail after pleading not guilty.
