A Livingston County man has been charged with manslaughter after allegedly pushing another man down a flight of stairs during a confrontation early Sunday.
Avon police arrested 61-year-old Jonathan Mills and charged him with one count of manslaughter following the incident. Authorities have not yet disclosed further details regarding the circumstances surrounding the confrontation.
Mills is currently being held at the Livingston County Jail on a $100,000 cash bail or $200,000 bond. Police stated that the victim’s name will not be released in accordance with his family’s wishes.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
