A man who police say entered this country illegally is charged with the horrific murder of a family of four in Monroe County.
The Irondequoit Police Department reports 34-year-old Julio Cesar Pimentel Soriano is accused of murdering Fraime Ubaldo, Marangeley Moreno-Santiago, Evangeline Ubaldo-Moreno and Sebastian Ubaldo-Moreno on August 31st at their residence on Knapp Avenue.
Soriano is allegedly also wanted in the Dominican Republic, where he is originally from, for a murder that happened in 2019. Police say Soriano entered the island of Puerto Rico illegally and obtained fraudulent identification that he then used to travel from Puerto Rico to the U.S. mainland.
Irondequoit Police say limited information is being released at this time as this continues to be an active investigation. Police say they are still trying to locate additional people wanted in connection with this incident.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
