There will not be any “Dancing in the Dark” tonight in Syracuse.
Yesterday on Twitter Bruce Springsteen announced that he will be postponing his September concerts, starting with his show tonight at the JMA Wireless Dome.
A Live Nation spokesman says Springsteen is being treated for symptoms of Peptic Ulcer Disease, and his medical advisors decided he should postpone his September concerts. No makeup dates have been announced, but ticket holders will receive information about rescheduled dates once they are available.
More than 30,000 tickets had been sold for concert at the Dome.
The postponed concerts are:
- Sept. 7 – Syracuse, NY @ JMA Wireless Dome
- Sept. 9 – Baltimore, MD @ Oriole Park at Camden Yards
- Sept. 12 – Pittsburgh, PA @ PPG Paints Arena
- Sept. 14 – Pittsburgh, PA @ PPG Paints Arena
- Sept. 16 – Uncasville, CT @ Mohegan Sun Arena
- Sept. 19 – Albany, NY @ MVP Arena
- Sept. 21 – Columbus, OH @ Nationwide Arena
- Sept. 29 – Washington, DC @ Nationals Park
