Your help is needed in the search for a missing Onondaga County man.
Sheriff’s deputies report responding to US 11 near Scammell Road in Lafayette on Thursday evening for the report of a missing person. There they learned that Victor “Devon” Scott had last been seen by a family member between 12:30-1:00 that afternoon.
On Saturday, deputies, NYS Forest Rangers, friends, and family searched the area where Scott was last seen. That evening, they were aided by the sheriff’s Air 1. Scott was not found.
The search was renewed Sunday morning.
The 24-year-old is described as white with a height of 5’6″ and weighing 200 lbs. He has brown hair and blued eyes with a short beard. Scott was last seen wearing a dark green pullover, black pants, black shoes, and glasses. He also goes by the name Devon.
Anyone with information on Scott’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office or 911.
