Hours after a visit from President Joe Biden, Governor Kathy Hochul touched down in Israel.
The Governor arrived in Tel Aviv just before noon our time Wednesday and was greeted by Ambassador Michael Herzog. On her social media, the Governor posted she met with victims and families of hostages taken by Hamas almost two weeks ago. She said New Yorkers pray for the safe return of those who have been taken hostage and will continue to do whatever we can to support them.
According to her office, Hochul plans on returning to New York on Friday.
