It’s going to be an uphill battle for Geneva native Mario Fratto if he qualifies for a run again for Congress.
Fratto announced last week he plans to challenge Congresswoman Claudia Tenney in the 24th district next year.
Tenney’s campaign announced Friday that every Republican chair in the 12-county district has committed to supporting her.
If Fratto qualifies for the primary ballot in 2024, it would be a rematch of the 2022 race for the party’s nomination.
