A former JV girls’ basketball and softball coach at Brockport High School has been arrested after allegedly having sexual contact with a student over a six-month period in 2018.
According to court papers, the student was 15 years old and an athlete at the time of the alleged incidents. Anne Collins was 22 years old at the time of the and is now facing felony criminal sex act charges. Collins worked as a coach at Brockport from 2017 to 2022. She started work as a social worker at Monroe One BOCES in 2019 and did not return to the job last fall.
Police say the victim in this case came forward with the allegations in March and the investigation determined that none of the criminal conduct took place on school property.
