With The Great New York State Fair just weeks away, thrill-seekers have a chance to save big during a one-day-only flash sale on Midway ride wristbands.
Wade Shows, the official Midway provider for The Fair, is launching the online-exclusive sale on Monday, July 28, starting at 4:00 a.m. and running through midnight. During the sale, “Ride All Day” wristbands will be available for $24 plus fees—the lowest price offered this year. Each wristband allows unlimited rides on any one day during the Fair’s 13-day run.
“This is a great opportunity for fairgoers to save on summer fun,” said Fair Director Julie LaFave. “With more rides and attractions than ever before, Wade Shows is helping us create unforgettable memories for families and thrill-seekers alike.”
Wade Shows Owner Frank Zaitshik added, “This year’s Fair will have more rides, a greater selection, and more rider appeal than ever before.”
Discount Options After the Flash Sale
If you miss the flash sale, discounted “Ride All Day” wristbands will still be available online from Tuesday, July 29 through Tuesday, August 19, for $28 plus fees. Once the Fair begins, prices jump to $37 on weekdays and $47 on weekends.
For the most dedicated riders, a Mega Pass is available for $97 plus fees—good for unlimited rides every day of the Fair. This pass is only available in advance online through August 19. Customers can pick up their Mega Passes in person from August 16–19 at the Wade Shows GR trailer by Gate 4.

Fairgoers can purchase tickets at nysfair.ny.gov. Those buying a Mega Pass are encouraged to upload a photo during checkout to speed up pickup.
Other Ride Ticket Options
- “Wacky Wednesday” wristbands will be available for $30 on August 20 and August 27—a $7 weekday savings.
- Individual ride credits can be purchased on-site at the Midway:
- 8 credits: $12
- 28 credits: $35
- 50 credits: $50
The Midway will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., closing at 9 p.m. on Labor Day (Sept. 1). Hours may change in the event of severe weather; updates will be posted to The Fair’s social media.

The 2025 Great New York State Fair runs from Wednesday, August 20 through Labor Day, Monday, September 1. General admission is just $8, and includes access to all entertainment, concerts, and exhibits. Children 12 and under and adults 65 and older are admitted free. A Frequent Fairgoer pass is also available for $25.
