    From 2 PM this afternoon to 2 PM EDT Saturday.
    IMPACTS
    Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
    ADDITIONAL DETAILS
    There will be several periods of stronger winds, with this afternoon seeing strong southerly winds, then a break this evening, before stronger west wind develop tonight into Saturday.

    Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

East Irondequoit School Bus Struck By Bullet

A school bus from one Monroe County school district was struck by gunfire Monday.

State Police responded to State Route 104 near Portland Avenue in East Irondequoit at 7:40 Monday morning for a report of a school bus that was shot at.

A preliminary investigation revealed what appeared to be a projectile that struck the side windows of the East Irondequoit School Bus. The bus was transporting ten high school-age students at the time. According to the school district, two windows on the bus shattered as a result of being struck by a bullet. No one onboard was injured.

This is an ongoing investigation.
