Cow Kills Farm Worker in St. Lawrence County

A worker was reportedly killed by a cow at a farm in St. Lawrence County on Sunday.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the employee of Flack Farm in Lisbon was attempting to tend to a newborn calf when a nearby cow charged at her, hitting her multiple times. The unidentified woman was taken to a nearby hospital and died from her injuries.

The Sheriff’s Office said its investigation is ongoing and an autopsy will be scheduled to determine the cause of death.
