A Central New York man died after being involved in a motorcycle versus pickup truck accident in Onondaga County over the weekend.
No specific details on what caused the accident just before 11 Saturday morning on Chestnut Street in the town of Clay have been released by the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office. We can report that 33-year-old Joseph Drake, of Liverpool, was driving the motorcycle and was taken to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse where he later died.
The driver of the pickup truck was not identified and was not injured.
The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office says no charges have been issued and its investigation is open and ongoing.
