Calling hours will be held on Friday for Genesee County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Thomas Sanfratello, who died in the line of duty last weekend.
Mourners can pay their respects between 2 and 8 p.m. at Genesee Community College’s Call Arena.
The father of two died while attempting to escort two people out of a bar at Batavia Downs last Sunday morning. The Batavia man and woman violently resisted arrest and Sanfratello passed away.
Sgt. Sanfratello’s funeral will also be held at Genesee Community College on Saturday
