Five juveniles have been arrested for allegedly burglarizing an Elbridge gun store.
Speaking with The Citizen, Thomas Newton, the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office’s Public Information Officer said five suspects broke into Tim’s Guns and Shooting Supplies early Saturday morning and stole 12 handguns and three rifles.
On Sunday a group of six attempted to steal ammunition but law enforcement arrived and arrested two at the scene with three others being arrested after trying to escape in an SUV but crashing in Camillus. Police are still looking for the final individual.
The group is suspected of also stealing from a gun shop in Oswego.
