A new music festival is coming to Geneva.
The Scott LaFaro Geneva Jazz Festival starts Thursday.
The festival was named for Geneva’s native son. LaFaro’s innovative playing can be heard on some of the well-renowned albums in jazz, most notably with Bill Evans. LaFaro died at the age of 25 in a car crash in 1961.
