Woman Charged with Grand Larceny After Shoplifting Incident at Victor Target

SHARE NOW

A Rochester woman is facing a felony charge following a shoplifting complaint at the Target store in the Town of Victor.

According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, 40-year-old Nichelle Beale was taken into custody on Thursday, after allegedly leaving the store with a cart full of merchandise without paying.

Beale was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and transported to the Ontario County Jail for centralized arraignment. She was later released on her own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in Victor Town Court at a later date.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
