On Monday, Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a Fairport woman following a shoplifting complaint at the Target on Commons Boulevard in Victor.
Alana Letendre, 46, was taken into custody at approximately 11:42 a.m. after she allegedly failed to pay for $22.99 worth of merchandise. Letendre was charged with Petit Larceny.
Following her arrest, Letendre was released on an appearance ticket. She is scheduled to answer the charge in Victor Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
