A Rochester woman was sent to the Ontario County Jail after authorities say she walked out of the Ultra Beauty Store and Hair Salon in Victor with more than $8,000 in merchandise she did not pay for.
The alleged incident involving 22-year-old Fantasia Speed occurred on June 15th. Police say she fled the scene prior to their arrival and a warrant was issued for her arrest. She was located by the Brighton Police Department this week and turned over to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Speed was charged with grand larceny.
