A joint investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office and the Department of Social Services resulted in the arrest of a village of Wolcott woman.
Charges against Shelby Abrams stem from an investigation into a fraud complaint in which the 26-year-old allowed an unauthorized person to use her SNAP benefits card for $280.74.
Abrams was charged with misuse of food stamps and petit larceny and was released on appearance tickets for Lyons Town Court.
