The investigation into a domestic disturbance in the village of Wolcott Saturday resulted in the arrest of a Wolcott man.
It is alleged that Cory Chase threatened to kill another person before leaving the premises. It was also alleged that the 35-year-old took a debit card belonging to the victim from within the residence. During the investigation, Chase allegedly returned to the scene and was found in possession of the stolen debit card. Chase was charged with harassment and grand larceny.
Following his arrest, Chase was brought to the Wayne County Jail to await CAP arraignment. He will appear in Wolcott Village Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
