A Wolcott man was arrested on a warrant issued out of Wayne County.
46-year-old Daniel Meyer was arrested on Friday following a traffic stop on State Route 89 in the town of Butler. Sheriff’s Deputies were aware that Meyer had an arrest warrant signed by a Judge charging him with reckless endangerment stemming from a previous investigation.
Meyer was held at the Wayne County Jail for CAP arraignment and will appear in Wolcott Town Court on a later date to answer the charge.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
