The investigation into a three-car accident on Whiskey Hill Road in the town of Butler Friday morning resulted in the arrest of a Wolcott man.
29-year-old Alex Rodriguez was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated with a .18 of 1% BAC or higher, unlicensed operator, operating a motor vehicle with no insurance, and failure to yield the right of way while making a left-hand turn. He was also charged with two counts of possession of a forged instrument.
Rodriguez was brought to the Wayne County Jail to await arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
