Williamson Man Charged With Reckless Endangerment

A 19-year-old from Wayne County faces reckless endangerment charges after police say he chased down the victim of a domestic incident in his car and swerved in front of her, nearly causing a crash.

Jason Vine, from Williamson, is also accused of grabbing onto the victim’s car while yelling verbal threats of physical violence directed at the victim. As a result of the incident and Vine’s intentional actions, the victim’s car sustained damage to the driver’s side door.

Vine was also charged with harassment and criminal mischief and was brought to Wayne County Jail to await arraignment.
