SHARE NOW

On Thursday, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest of a Williamson man following an investigation into a domestic dispute.

Deputies arrested 31-year-old Tyson Faniel on March 12. The arrest followed a report of family trouble where Faniel allegedly physically assaulted a female victim and stole money.

Faniel was charged with Robbery in the Third Degree and Harassment in the Second Degree. He was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing.

Following his arrest, Faniel was taken to the Wayne County Jail to await Centralized Arraignment Part Court. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Williamson Court at a later date to answer the charges.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
