A Williamson man is facing multiple charges after a Sunday night incident in the town.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, just after 10:00p, Christopher Ward subjected a person with an order of protection against him to unwanted physical contact and prevented them from calling 911.
The 54-year-old was charged with one count each of Criminal Contempt, Criminal Mischief, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, and Harassment.
Ward was taken to the Wayne County Jail to await arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
