The investigation into a larceny that occurred at a grocery store in Wayne County has resulted in the arrest of a Williamson resident.
29-year-old Amethyst Jarvis is accused of stealing $27.87 worth of merchandise from the Tops store in Ontario by passing all points of sale with the stolen items without making an attempt to pay for them.
Jarvis was charged with petit larceny and released on an appearance ticket for Ontario Town Court.
