A Williamson man has been arrested in connection with a burglary at The Liquor Cabinet last month.
Troopers say the incident happened just after midnight on December 13, when an alarm went off at the store on Pearsall Road in Williamson. When police arrived, they found that two doors had been forced open, but no one was inside.
Investigators determined that someone had broken in and stolen several bottles of alcohol, valued at about $114. Surveillance footage helped identify the suspect.
Police say 32-year-old Travis Breedlove was taken into custody on December 24 and charged with burglary, petit larceny, and criminal mischief. He was arraigned in Williamson Town Court and sent to the Wayne County Jail.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
