A Williamson woman was arrested by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office following the investigation into a domestic incident.
It is alleged that Stacy Sawyer was involved in a domestic incident with her mother and that Sawyer violated a stay-away Order of Protection. Sawyer was later located and taken into custody.
Sawyer was charged with criminal contempt and released on an appearance ticket.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
