With the help of a Wayne County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Officer, a Galen man was taken into police custody after initially taking off.
Timothy Caves, Junior, was spotted by sheriff’s deputies in the parking lot of the Fastrac in the village of Clyde and took off on foot after being confronted. The 38-year-old was taken into custody a short time later without incident by the K9 unit. Caves had an outstanding warrant issued by the Federal Judicial District of Western New York for a felony weapons charge.
Caves was taken to the Monroe County Jail for processing.
