A traffic stop in Wayne County resulted in the arrest of a town of Marion man.
Paul Liedmann was pulled over after he allegedly failed to come to a complete stop at the intersection of Mill and South Main streets. Sheriff’s Deputies determined Liedmann was under the influence of alcohol after he failed roadside field sobriety tests.
Liedmann was brought to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for professing where it was determined he had a .18% BAC. Upon further investigation, it was determined Liedmann was previously convicted of DWI in Lyons Town Court in 2019. With that conviction, Liedmann was charged with Felony DWI, Felony Aggravated DWI, and possession of an open container.
Liedmann will appear in Marion Town Court at a later date to answer the charge.
