Wayne County Man Charged With DWI

SHARE NOW

The investigation into an anonymous phone call by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office resulted in the arrest of a 66-year-old Huron man.

The charges against Christopher Lieberman stem from an investigation into an anonymous phone call that alleged Lieberman had left his residence and was intoxicated. Deputies located Lieberman in the parking lot of a local business and upon speaking to him they detected an order of consumed alcoholic beverage upon Lieberman’s breath. Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered prior to Lieberman being taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated.

Lieberman was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office where he refused to submit to a chemical test of his breath.

Lieberman was taken to the Wayne County Jail for Centralized Arraignment on Driving While Intoxicated charges.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
