The driver who was involved in a crash last November in Wayne County that seriously injured his passenger is now facing criminal charges.
On November 12th, David Horning was involved in an accident on Skinner Road in Marion. An analysis of the 65-year-old’s blood showed alcohol and cocaine in his system at the time of the crash.
Horning was charged with vehicular assault, assault, driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated under the influence of drugs and alcohol and moving from lane unsafely.
Horning was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing and then transported to the Wayne County Jail for CAP Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
