The investigation into a domestic incident resulted in the arrest of a Wayne County man on a number of charges including Leandra’s Law.
It is alleged that Matthew Wilson drove a car in an intoxicated state while having a child passenger who was under the age of 15. Wilson was arrested following the administration of field sobriety tests that he failed. The 38-year-old was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing where he submitted to a chemical test, which yielded a .12 percent BAC.
Wilson was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Driving While Intoxicated having a BAC of .08% or greater, DWI Leandra’s Law, aggravated unlicensed operation, endangering the welfare of a child and several traffic violations.
Wilson was held at the Wayne County Jail for CAP arraignment.
