A Wayne County man was arrested Monday morning following an investigation into a disturbance in the town of Williamson.
The alleged incident involving Roger Cooney occurred on December 13th. The 58-year-old Williamson man was arrested on a charge of criminal trespass after he allegedly entered a home without permission from the owner.
Cooney was subsequently arrested and transported to the Wayne County Jail to await CAP.
Cooney will appear in Williamson Town Court at a later date for further court proceedings.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
