The investigation into a domestic incident at a residence on State Route 31 in the town of Arcadia resulted in the arrest of a 35-year-old Arcadia man.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, the charges against Jared Nesmith stem from the report of a domestic incident where he allegedly threatened his significant other, violating an Order of Protection.
Nesmith was charged with criminal contempt, menacing, and harassment.
Nesmith was taken to Wayne County Jail where he is being held without bail.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
