A Wayne County man has been arrested for allegedly committing a number of burglaries on Old Route 31 in the town of Galen.
It is alleged that during the afternoon hours of August 25th through August 28th, Jesse Jack, of Galen, broke into the house of a family member and stole $7,500 in cash and $200 in rolled change.
The 55-year-old Jack was charged with two counts of burglary, grand larceny and petit larceny.
Following his arraignment in CAP Court, Jack was released to appear at a later date
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
