Cayuga County Sheriff Brian Schenck on Sunday released information on the arrest last week of a Wayne County man.
On September 13, the Cayuga County Sheriff’s arrested 22-year old Trent Goodrich, of Wolcott, for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and robbery.
Upon gathering intelligence indicating Goodrich was in Wayne County, a coordinated effort was made between the multiple agencies to locate and apprehend Goodrich.
Goodrich was located in Wayne County and immediately fled in a stolen vehicle. After a pursuit, Goodrich crashed the stolen car he was operating into a field and fled on foot, where he was ultimately taken into custody.
