A Town of Rose man was arrested on multiple charges following an incident at the Marion Village Apartments.
Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a disturbance on Chaintree Drive in Marion early Monday morning. Deputies say they observed 33-year-old Christian Lormil running from them due to allegedly being in violation of a stay-away order of protection with another party on the scene. Deputies later located Lormil in the woods and he was taken into custody.
Lormil was charged with three counts of criminal contempt and resisting arrest.
Additionally, Lormil was charged with three counts of criminal contempt, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, burglary, harassment, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. These additional charges stemmed from an arrest warrant regarding a separate domestic incident on November 18th.
Lormil was transported to the Wayne County Jail for CAP arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
