A Wayne County man was arrested Tuesday following an investigation into an animal cruelty complaint.
Monte Carr’s arrest stems from an investigation that started as an animal cruelty complaint after he dropped off a deathly ill dog at the Wayne County Humane Society. The 53-year-old Savannah man is accused of giving false information regarding his identification to the Humane Society.
Carr was charged with falsifying business records and was released on an appearance ticket for Arcadia Town Court.
