The investigation into an incident that happened on New Year’s Day in Wayne County resulted in the arrest of a Palmyra man.
It is alleged that 37-year-old Michael Gleason got into a physical altercation with his girlfriend at a residence causing injuries to her. It is also alleged that during the incident, Gleason reportedly pointed a knife at the woman.
Gleason was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, menacing, and assault.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
