A Waterloo woman is facing drug charges.
The arrest of BobbiJo Vanhouten stems from a traffic stop due to an alleged moving violation that was observed prior to the traffic stop. During the roadside investigation, a Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputy reportedly located drug paraphernalia as well as crack cocaine that was packaged for consumption.
Vanhouten was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and was released on an appearance ticket for Seneca Falls Town Court.
The town of Seneca Falls Police Department, Waterloo Village Police Department, and New York State Police all assisted during the roadside investigation.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
