Waterloo Woman Arrested in Walworth Drug Investigation

SHARE NOW

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Waterloo woman following a narcotics investigation in the Town of Walworth.

Deputies say Belle Vanvalkenburg was taken into custody on September 6 after a months-long investigation. The case stems from a June 7 traffic stop on Atlantic Avenue in Walworth, where Vanvalkenburg was found in possession of two ounces of cocaine.

At the time of the stop, she was released pending lab results of the suspected drugs. Once testing confirmed the substance, deputies arrested Vanvalkenburg and transported her to the Wayne County Jail for arraignment in CAP Court.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by New York State Police.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
