A woman was arrested in the Town of Tyre after it is alleged she was involved in a two-vehicle personal injury accident where she rear-ended a vehicle in front of her.
After an investigation into the incident, 70-year-old Delaine George of Waterloo was arrested and later submitted a chemical breath test, which revealed a 0.11% BAC.
Minor injuries were sustained by the two occupants of the rear-ended vehicle. Both occupants declined transport to a local hospital. New York State Police, North Seneca Ambulance, and Tyre Town Fire Department all assisted with the incident.
George was issued an appearance ticket and a violation for following too closely. She is scheduled to appear before the Town of Tyre Court on Dec. 10.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation; the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
