The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Waterloo man following a harassment investigation involving repeated unwanted contact.
According to Sheriff Timothy Thompson, 28-year-old Zachary Valder was arrested on Monday on charges of Aggravated Family Offense and Fourth-Degree Stalking
Investigators allege Valder repeatedly contacted an individual without a legitimate reason, causing the victim to fear for their safety. Due to a previous domestic-related conviction within the past five years, the charges were elevated.
Valder was arraigned at CAP Court and is scheduled to appear in Romulus Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
