A Waterloo man was arrested Saturday evening after a property damage crash in the village.
Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 25-year-old Kadin Coleman around 6 p.m. on Saturday following a crash at Stark and Chadwick streets. Deputies say Coleman left the scene but was found a short time later on Route 96, where his vehicle was located with an open container inside.
Coleman allegedly admitted to driving and being involved in the crash. A breath test showed a blood alcohol content of 0.13%. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, along with open container and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
Coleman was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Waterloo Town Court on November 19. The Waterloo Police Department assisted at the scene.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
