A Waterloo man was arrested by Penn Yan Police following the execution of an arrest warrant out of Penn Yan Village Court.
The warrant for the arrest of Glen Peters was issued following a report of a physical domestic that occurred on November 26th. The 43-year-old is accused of breaking into the victim’s home and physically attacking her. On December 27th, police were advised by an anonymous tip that Peters may be at his home in Waterloo. The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office was notified and took Peters into custody.
After being turned over to the Penn Yan Police Department, Peters was charged with burglary, two counts of criminal obstruction of breathing, unlawful imprisonment, and harassment.
Peters was transported back to the Penn Yan Police Department for processing before being brought to Yates County Jail to await CAP arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
