A Waterloo man was arrested by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office on charges of harassment, disorderly conduct, endangering the welfare of a child, and resisting arrest.
The arrest of Brian Jones stems from a child custody exchange where deputies were present. During the exchange, it is alleged that Jones threw a backpack at the victim and began arguing with that person while a child was present. The 36-year-old was advised to leave the area but refused. Jones is also accused of actively resisting deputies as they attempted to place him in custody.
Jones was brought to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
