Police have arrested a Waterloo man who allegedly failed to follow a court order and surrender all of his firearms to law enforcement.
20-year-old Bronc Petrie was taken into custody on Friday after a search warrant was executed at his Burgess Road home and a rifle, shotgun and ammunition were recovered. Petrie was arrested at the Seneca County Jail, where he is currently incarcerated. He was charged with aggravated criminal contempt, criminal contempt and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
Petrie was held in custody to await CAP arraignment on his new charges.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
